Hullo Malan, Keep up the good work. You are a real South African patriot as opposed to the majority of posters on the crimexposouthafrica dot org website who it seems to me to fall mainly into two groups.

1. White expats no longer in South Africa feeling homesick and thinking about the good old (apartheid)days but now having to compete on a worldwide open market for jobs as well as make their own beds, clean their own shoes etc.

2. Whites who remain in South Africa who are not able to leave because they are either unemployable or don't have the guts to move, or who still enjoy the great South African lifestyle with a democratically elected government.

Within these two groups however there are also genuine serious crime victims who are bitter about a lot of things and honestly I can't blame them. The crime in South Africa is shocking.

I have also tried contributing to the crimexposouthafrica dot org website but unfortunately was banned, I think because I was opposed to the strong right wing (and sometimes fascist?) leanings of the site which continue to refer to Mandela as a terrorist, the late PW Botha as a hero (and personal friend of Watson).

In summary, the way I read it, the site is nothing more than a minority of whites bitching about now having to compete for scarce resources on an equal footing and having discovered it's not so easy. In tern they somehow pervertedly believe that by continually slagging the beautiful country, where only yesterday it was reported that the employment index had hit a record high, that they will get back to the wicked ways of the past.

Finally Neil Watson and Shaun Thompson the purported leaders of the website are sitting with their families in New York where they are benefiting from the protections of the great American constitution although these days I am not sure that the US Homeland Security would be happy about non US citizens sitting in New York participating in spreading the hate they do.

If they ever do start the ultra conservative right wing political party that they say they will it will be interesting to see if they return and really do personally go through the political process on the ground. I predict not.

Because I have been silenced on their site I have started my own which is a place I go to comment about crimexposouthafrica dot org. Most people start websites to get lots of readership and measure their success by the number of hits. I am not interested in this. This is simply a place where I write what I believe.
