Mbeki says there is no crime. The same way he said HIV does not cause AIDS. It took months for the International Community to put pressure on the gov to demand ARV's be given - it could have been far longer - as a result, thousands of lives were bettered (for the individual, their families + the economic workforce).however, all the time-wasting cost hundreds of lives.
Lets not let our government waste time. Crime IS a problem. If we all submit our stories and shocking headlines to FIFA, they will put pressure on the country to sort out crime. We have this opportunity, so lets use it! Go to www.FIFA.com, click 'contact FIFA' (bottom page) and submit an email.
